COVID-19

Amidst this COVID-19 outbreak, encouragement for social distancing and increased caution, the team at Elle Interiors is still readily available for the clients. Through this outbreak, we are committed to continuing its current projects with 100% and accepting new inquires.

When you think of careers that can be done at a social distance, interior design is probably not one that crosses your mind. However, 95% of what we do can be done digitally through technology.

“We no longer cut out scraps from magazines and glue them together on a board. Now, we use Pinterest and digital mood boards we sent to our clients. Any physical sample has a digital spec sheet and we can crop images online.” says Eden Stringham.

Elle Interiors has several ways to still work with their clients while practicing social distancing.

Digital Mood Boards & 3D Renderings

With projects, we can create a 3D computer graphic that converts 3D models into 2D images. These 3D renderings will show what the space will look like with the actual finishes and give a visual walkthrough. After creating these renderings, the team can send even videos to help as a visual aid.

Digital mood boards are already easy to access. When working with us, you can expect PDF’s of your mood boards sent right to you, and the use of social media, such as Pinterest boards. Below are mood board examples that can be sent directly to clients.

Communication

Throughout this social distancing and caution, we don’t expect clients to meet with the team as often. It’s possible to keep communicating through technology. Depending on what programs you are most comfortable with, the team can keep establishing trust and understanding through Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, Zoom, conference calls, emails, and text. Throughout the design process, it’s important for communications and through this, the team understands the value of your time and communicating their ideas and ensuring your approval and expectations are met.
