At Environments Interior Design, interior design is not just a step-by-step process, it’s an individual experience. Each design service option is customized to our client’s needs. We are a full service design firm who does everything from construction documents to stylizing. Some of the experiences we offer:

DESIGN CONSULATATION

Our 2 hour design consultation takes place at your home or business where we discuss the project scope, timeline, budget, design process and vision you have for your space.  This is the first phase for those wanting to use our full design services or a stand-alone service for those who want to take our ideas and implement them on their own. This meeting may include suggestions for the following:

  • Paint color & wall coverings

  • Overall design direction

  • Spacial & furniture layout

  • Lighting placement

  • Accessories & styling

After the meeting, you'll receive a formal proposal which identifies the specific goals for your project, project milestones, and more about how we work. If you move forward and book a full services package, the design consultation fee will be waived. If you decide you would rather take the project on yourself we will send you the detailed notes of the consultation so that you can use to begin the project yourself.

 
 

RESIDENTIAL DESIGN

 

When building your dream home there are countless design decisions to make—from the millwork and cabinet design to lighting fixture selection and placement. We work with you and the contractor to keep the project on schedule and in budget. We start by presenting concept boards with 3D renderings, finishes and custom millwork drawings. After that, we work our way to finish selections, details, furniture, wallcoverings and appliance selections. Once signed off, we begin ordering the furniture, managing the paperwork, and overseeing installation. We take care of every detail to create a turnkey solution for our clients.

Opening a space is a brave, spirited and perhaps a little frightening endeavor! We are here to help you fulfill your vision, maximize your time and boost profits, and design a stunning yet functional space.

Our strength is in strategically branding your space for profitability and you are welcome to be as involved as much or little as you would like. Our clients are busy individuals who may not want to occupy their valuable time managing the technical aspects of designing a new office, so we would be happy to assist with those tedious and time-consuming details allowing you to do what you do best, which is running your company. We help our clients maximize their investments by knowing who to talk to and where to go for help.  We have a team of trusted vendors and we know where to splurge and where to save. At Environments we are here to assist you every step of the way.

 
 

EXTERIORS

 

We believe that the inside of a space should be a reflection of the outside. When appropriate we love to help with the finishes of the exterior. We prepare renderings and present the materials and finishes to you and coordinate with the architect.

 
 

THE PROCESS

Our Process
1. Consultation
1. Consultation

We schedule an in person consultation and create a detailed list with an in-depth review of your specific design needs. We use this to better understand how your family lives or how your company works. After, we will send you a design fee proposal. Once accepted, you send us any inspiration photos.

2. Concept Design
2. Concept Design

This is where the fun begins! We will present to you concept board options and evaluate the budget. Then our team begins to develop the details including color schemes, design styles, finishes, furniture and materials. From there, we begin spaceplaning and laying out the furniture. We select flooring, wall coverings, window coverings, lighting, furniture and fabrics and present that to you. After the presentation we make any tweaks based on your feedback and then get the sign off.

3. Design Development

This is the part where we manage the nitty-gritty details, so you don’t have to! We coordinate with architect, engineers and contractor while creating drawings for construction including floorplans, detailed millwork drawings, finish plans, lighting and ceiling plans. We can even help during the bidding process with re-design if construction goes over budget.

4. Purchasing + Project Management

Next, we’ll place orders and manage the furniture for you. At our receiving warehouse, each item will be properly inspected and stored until install. On various commercial projects, in lieu of purchasing, we will work with a commercial furniture dealership and coordinate with them on your behalf. During this phase we schedule periodic site visits to check the progress of construction, attend any construction meetings and handle all of the paperwork to ensure all of the finishes and millwork are installed correctly.

5. Install

After months of waiting patiently to see everything come together, we near our final phase. We will coordinate the movers and finalize the last details. Then we will prep everything for the grand reveal! We will do a walkthrough with you and you will recieve a project binder with all of the information about your space.
