EASY RECIPES EVERY ADULT SHOULD KNOW HOW TO MAKE
From your favorite food bloggers aNDUS
I have always loved cooking, but my love flourished in college at my summer job working on a ranch in the kitchen. I was lucky enough to work with talented chefs, and they taught me tricks and an appreciation for finer foods. I believe that food is an experience. When I come across a new recipe or flavor, I enjoy documenting and trying it out for myself at home. I love adding my own twist to the recipes I find.
I have so many recipes I love, but I will share with you a few of my favorites!
Dutch Baby
This one is a family favorite. My husband makes it every year for Christmas morning and Mother’s day because it is to die for. We had this at The Original Pancake House and fell in love. Through trial and error, my husband has been perfecting it for years now.

French Silk Pie
This recipe is a little more difficult. Even if French cooking is not a piece of cake, it can be done! I would suggest making a whole morning out of it and getting a partner to help. The curled chocolate strips are a must!
This is the recipe I used!
Stuffed Avocado
This recipe was inspired by a trip to Puerto Rico. After trying Puerto Rico's large decadent avocados, I knew I had to make my own recipe at home. It's sure to impress!
Here’s the recipe I use!
Tomato Tart
This was a recipe a friend sent to me, but with a few tweaks, it’s now a favorite!
Bruschetta
We stumbled upon the most adorable cafe in Florence, Italy and by chance tried the bruschetta for breakfast. We knew we had to make it. It is a crowd-pleaser! This is my own recipe.
Bruchetta: (my own recipe so measurements are approximate!)
3-4 Roma tomatoes diced (try to remove some of the seeds if possible)
3-4 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons fine shredded parmeseano reggiano
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
1 garlic clove minced
Pinch of salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
Combine everything and let sit in refrigerator minimum of 4 hours so it can soak in all the flavors. Leave it out 30 minutes before serving at room temperature. I like to serve it with the baguette and I just pop those in the oven a few minutes on each side with olive oil.
Brown Butter Sage Gnocchi and Roasted pine nuts
This recipe was inspired by my husband and I’s first date at the cutest cafe Molise downtown Salt Lake. We love anything Italian! And we love this recipe!
Chicken Tortilla Casserole
Gerry Speirs, from https://foodnessgracious.com/, gave us this recipe!
“I love this recipe because it doesn't require a lot of ingredients, can be made ahead, and usually has some leftovers for lunch the next day which sometimes tastes even better! It's easy to make and is good comfort food.”
