How many holiday movies have you watched this season?

Chosen specifically for their incredible festive interiors- these our the six holiday movies to watch this week!

A Christmas Story (1983)

We all know the story of Ralphie and his BB-gun, but we love the bright colors on this vintage house. You won’t find a green trim on a beige/ yellow home like this anywhere. This iconic house is now a museum and you can go visit to walk through the time capsule.

Last Christmas (2019)

This Christmas movie came out last year and it stars Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones and Nick Young, who stole all our hearts in Crazy Rich Asians. The year-round Christmas store is full of lights, garlands and toys. We specifically love the cabinetry and millwork with touch of green. When you match it with brick accent walls- the green millwork subtly hints Christmas without overbearing.

The Christmas Prince (2017)

This Netflix original gives all the Hallmark Christmas movie vibes and we are here for it! The Christmas Prince is set in a castle and we love the accents of gold and warm woods. It also features beautiful, intricate carvings in the millwork to make it feel luxurious and grand.

Home Alone (1990)

This house makes us think that maybe Kevin didn’t have it so bad, being stuck at home all alone. Although the wallpaper, floral furniture and draperies seem outdated now, they were very high end back in their day. We love that throughout the entire house, we find the red and green theme for Christmas.

From the stained glass to the candy cane arch, the North Pole in the Santa Clause movies screams Christmas. It’s full of bright colors and eye-catching shapes.

The Holiday (2006)

This modern Spanish style mansion is sleek and beautiful and almost makes you wonder why Cameron Diaz’s character ever wanted to leave for the holidays! The tan, cream and gray tones all make this home feel luxurious.

Other Movies to add to your holiday movie binge:

White Christmas (1954): Are we over the lodge in this movie? No way!

The Princess Switch (2018): This Netflix Original is adorable and we love the Christmas decorations and beautiful sets for each scene.

A Christmas Kiss (2011): For all your designer needs!! Because the main character is an interior designer, we’ve fallen in love with all the sets!

The Christmas Bow (2020): A Hallmark movie, filmed only 10 minutes away on Center Street in Provo, Utah has the cutest set and premiered this year in 2020.
