Riverbottoms Remodel: Bunkroom

4.JPG

In this area of the lovely Springville home, we used a traditional design style with a mix of farmhouse. With most of their kids grown and starting families of their own, it was important to have a home suitable for family reunions and grandchildren. Keeping in character with the original home, we were able to bring in custom elements while balancing some of the original features. The bunkroom and craft room are the perfect place for grandchildren to play and have sleepovers!

Although this is a small, narrow hallway, we wanted this space to have purpose. With collaboration from our clients we created the perfect little craft room, a place where all creativity runs free. It's a magical entrance for any grandchild to walk through.

Inside our bunkroom we had beautiful custom bunks built. We wanted the space to feel light and airy above, which helped ground the dark walnut floors. We loved the individual lights by the head of each of the beds and the stairs up to the top bunks.

The bunk room had beautiful nooks we were able to stretch our creativity!

The boys nook! We wanted a space for the boys to be able to play games, legos and let their imaginations run wild.
